Russell Wilson Honors Children's Hospital Colorado & Why Not You Foundation via My Cause My Cleats Initiative

#MyCauseMyCleats is an NFL initiative that celebrates the positive impact players have made in their communities. Players have the opportunity to pick a cause that is important to them and represent their chosen organization on custom designed cleats.

This past weekend, on December 3rd, 2023 during the Broncos vs. Texans game in Houston, TX, Russell Wilson wore a pair of custom cleats honoring the work of the Children’s Hospital Colorado and the Why Not You Foundation. The cleats were designed and painted by Denver-based artist and muralist Austin Zucchini Fowler. The design showcases the beautiful Denver skyline contrasting city and nature, and follows a Denver Broncos color palette with heavy use of orange and blue.

The cleats have now been signed by Russell and are available for auction on the Denver Broncos Marketplace website until December 16th. Proceeds from the sale of the cleats will go to the Children’s Hospital Colorado supporting their mission ‘to improve the health of children through the provision of high-quality, coordinated programs of patient care, education, research and advocacy.’
