BCK—On Friday, October 4th, 2024, Ciara, Russell Wilson, and their four kids hit the runway in style at the Steelers’ annual “Steelers Style” fashion show held at Stage AE. This year’s event marked the 50th anniversary of the show, with proceeds benefiting key community causes, including the UPMC Sports Medicine Concussion Program and Cancer Bridges.

Boys & Girls Club of Western Pennsylvania—On June 18, 2024, Wilson visited Dick’s House of Sport in Ross Township to announce a $50,000 gift to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania from the Why Not You Foundation.

CommonSpirit Health— On Tuesday, October 17th, CommonSpirit Health and the Why Not You Foundation surprised 10 nonprofit organizations from Colorado and Utah, giving each organization a $100,000 grant to help further their work in building healthier communities. Russell Wilson and Ciara, as well as Dr. Oswaldo Grenardo, SVP and Chief Clinical Officer and Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer, were on hand to present each nonprofit with its check.

People— On Tuesday, the Grammy-winner, 37, and the NFL star, 34, paid a visit to the hospital's Seacrest Studios — a broadcast media center donated by the Ryan Seacrest Foundation — and spent quality time with the children. During their visit, the couple sang holiday carols like "Deck the Halls" and "Jingle Bell Rock" — while encouraging the kids to sing along with them. For the patients who were unable to be there in person, the festivities were streamed directly into their rooms.

Centura Health— On Monday, July 25, Centura Health President & CEO Peter D. Banko announced Centura will partner with Russell Wilson and Ciara’s Why Not You Foundation to contribute $500,000 annually to local and regional non-profit organizations. Centura and the Foundation will select grant recipients among non-profits that share our passions for health equity, education, food security, social justice, support for children and youth, and more.

Russell Wilson & Ciara’s Why Not You Foundation (WNYF) and the Safeway Foundation announced today a new in-store fundraiser to benefit the WNYF and support their work in equitable education access, food security initiatives and children’s health. The campaign will run from June 17 through July 17 at check stand pin-pads in 125 Safeway and Albertsons stores across Colorado, South Dakota, Wyoming, western Nebraska, and northwest New Mexico – giving customers an opportunity to round up their purchase or donate $1, $3 or $5 during checkout.

Our founders, Russell Wilson and Ciara, were honored with this year’s Paul G. Allen Humanitarian Award for their work with the Why Not You Foundation and their long-standing commitment to the Seattle community. The award was presented by the Seattle Sports Commission at the 87th Annual Sports Star of the Year Awards Show.

The Why Not You Foundation (WNYF) and College Success Foundation (CSF) hosted an unforgettable evening to celebrate scholars, demonstrate the impact of education, and ensure students have the support, mentoring and services necessary to achieve their dreams. The Dream Big: Anything Is Possible event brought together an intimate group of thought leaders from the Seattle community to connect and discuss topics ranging from the challenges underserved students experience to the future of education. Funds raised at the event will benefit the Why Not You Academy and College Success Foundation college-access and success programs.

People— On Wednesday, the couple announced that Why Not You? will be published by Random House Books for Young Readers on March 1, 2022. The kids' book, illustrated by Jessica Gibson, is an extension of their Why Not You Foundation, which they started in 2014 to "equip today's youth with the skills and opportunities to become tomorrow's leaders," according to the foundation website. The book poses questions like: "Why can't you be the star? Why can't you change the world? Why can't you tell your story?

United Way— Today, United Way announced the launch of the Live United Initiative, an eight-week initiative to help communities everywhere continue on the path of recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. At the helm of this effort are Seattle Seahawk Super Bowl Champion and 2020 Walter Peyton Man of the Year, Russell Wilson and his wife, Grammy award-winning artist Ciara.
