CommonSpirit Health— On Tuesday, October 17th, CommonSpirit Health and the Why Not You Foundation surprised 10 nonprofit organizations from Colorado and Utah, giving each organization a $100,000 grant to help further their work in building healthier communities. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Why Not You Foundation has partnered with United Way Worldwide, The Rockefeller Foundation, Lyft, DoorDash, and Safeway and Albertsons, to enhance and expand Ride United across the country. Ride United is a critical transportation access initiative, and now features a “last mile” home delivery program that brings food and supplies to vulnerable populations.
The Why Not You Foundation and Performance Kitchen, announced a charitable partnership with brand ambassadors Russell Wilson and Ciara. The brand’s Performance Kitchen Crafted stores will conduct a meal donation drive in-store and online, allowing customers to purchase a nutritious meal to donate to people in need during the COVID-19 crisis.
